Below you can read how we handle your data, where we store it, which security techniques we use and who can see the data. We give your data only to other parties if that is really necessary for our services. This concerns these parties: printing (Printful Inc), shipping partners (MyParcel – PostNL), paying partners (Mollie), Hosting (Strato AG) and a party we use for sending email newsletters (MailChimp – The Rocket Science Group).
In suspicious cases, we are required to share customer information with government agencies.
WooCommerce – WordPress
Our webshop runs on WooCommerce software. This is the webshop branch of WordPress. Our webshop is hosted by Strato. Personal information that you make available for the benefit of our services to us will be shared with that party. Strato has access to your information in order to offer our (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Strato is, based on the agreement we have made with them, required to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and strong password policy. There are regular backups to prevent data loss. Backups are made by Strato, by ourselves on physical hard drives and stored online in a secure Google Cloud.
E-mail and mailing lists
Printing, Shipping and logistics
All orders from within Europe are handled by ourselves and printed at a local printshop called De Resolutie. At the moment they only receive the print files from us to create the prints. We pack and ship the posters ourselves using a Dutch postal service described below.
PostNL – Myparcel
If you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of MyParcel to perform deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and contact data with MyParcel. MyParcel uses this data only for the purpose of the execution of the contract. For orders outside of Europe we work with a printshop based in America. They print our products and also ship them to you. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and contact data with Printful Inc. Printful Inc. uses this data only for the purpose of the execution of the contract. In case Printful Inc. enables subcontractors, like postal services Printful Inc. makes your data also available to these parties.

We use your data for our services. The purpose of processing your data is always directly related to the customer request.
We may use your information to ‘legitimate interest’. That means we have to provide our customers the best possible personal service. Here we always think of your privacy. This is the case with:

We can also have a legal obligation to use your data, for example when we suspect fraud. And sometimes you have given us permission to use your data, such as when you register for the newsletter.

These third parties are all bound to secrecy under the agreement between them and us, or an oath or statutory obligation.
Automatically collected data
Files that are automatically collected by our website are processed with the aim to further improve our services. These data (for example, your IP address, browser and operating system) are not personal.
Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations
In situations where Sportymaps is under a statutory obligation to share your data connection with a tax or criminal investigation by the authorities. In such a case we are forced to share your data.
We keep your data as long as you are a customer of ours. This means that we save your customer profile until you indicate that you do not want to make more use of our services. Under administrative obligations we have invoices with your (personal) data to be retained, so that information we will keep for as long as the applicable period.

WP Statistics remembers collected information through their cookies for 365 days.

Facebook – Instagram
We use the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook to measure the effectiveness of our online marketing. This enables us to see the actions of users on our website after they have seen a Facebook or Instagram ad or having clicked and then placed an order. Therefore, we are able to see the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research related purposes. The collected data will remain anonymous, which means that we cannot see personal data of individuals, and cannot trace a visitor to a specific user.
